Aquathon

ITC conducts a Wednesday Afternoon Aquuthon each week during daylight saving.

The Aquathon commences at Belmore Basin at 6pm each Wednesday. Participants are asked to arrive by 5.45pm to register.

The event includes a 500m swim and a 5km run. It is a non-competitive training session and is suitable for people of all fitness levels.

On the last Wednesday of each month there is a BBQ after the Aquathon. Participants, Club members and family are welcome to attend. There will be a small charge for the BBQ

The first aquathon of the season will be 13th October 2010

Challenge Training

 

 

 

 

 

Challenge Training offers you an experience that will help you on your triathlon journey.  We strive to work with you to highlight aspects of your nutrition, training or fitness that you wish to improve and set realistic but achievable goals that will provide progress.

You can join or leave Challenge Training when you wish, but like everything in life you get back what you put in, so we want to be part of your planned journey to achieve that nutrition, training, fitness or race goal you are seeking.

At the helm of Challenge Training is two experienced athletes from diverse backgrounds, one an elite age group swimmer for over 5 years whom has dealt with bio mechanical injuries during their career, the other a leading age group Triathlete whom has been racing for over 10 years, and used the sport of triathlon to go from a 115kg frame to a multiple sub 10 hour Ironman finisher, whilst balancing work and a young family. Our individual experience is varied thus we offer you the best of both worlds and hope that we can pass on our learnings to benefit you.
