Illawarra Triathlon Club is a community-run, inclusive club for all abilities. We cater for beginners right through to experienced triathletes.
As an ITC member you’ll get discounted race entry, access to our training events and social activities, plus all the benefits of Triathlon Australia membership including race and training insurance, discounts and benefit. Women's Only Triathlon
Our next club event celebrates the women in our community with an event aiming to encourage and celebrate the fun atmosphere that comes with triathlon and empower women to give triathlon a go who haven't previously participated in our sport.
Supported by Triathlon NSW through the "Finish Lines", Not "Finish Times" initiative, this will be a free and untimed event for all women (12 yrs+), and is more about having a great time rather than the actual finish time.
We'll be running both our distances -
ITC Short Distance - 200m Swim / 6.6km Bike / 2.2km Run
ITC Club Distance - 400m Swim / 13.2km Bike / 4.4km Run

Training activities are currently under discussion. Further details will be advised through news letters and social media platforms.
Our standard course is a two-lap 400m ocean swim, six-lap 13km closed road ride and two-lap 4km run based at Five Islands Secondary College, Port Kembla. We also offer a shorter version (1-lap swim, 4-lap ride, 1-lap run) and duathlons when the water is too cold. Members who race at multiple races during the season earn points towards the season point score. Beginners and non-members are welcome at all races.
